Jenilyn Wilson currently serves as the Director of Statewide Compliance at The Florida Department of Education since December 2019, following a role as Program Specialist. Previously, Jenilyn worked as a Child Care Licensing Inspector for Hillsborough County from March 2016 to December 2019, where responsibilities included conducting inspections and investigating complaints regarding child care facilities. Prior experience includes serving as a Child Protective Investigator for the Pasco County Sheriff Office from January 2013 to March 2016, focusing on investigating allegations of child abuse and neglect. Earlier, Jenilyn was an Economic Self-Sufficiency Specialist at the Florida Department of Children and Families from March 2009 to January 2013, managing cases related to public assistance program eligibility. Jenilyn is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management at the University of Central Florida, expected to graduate in May 2025, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Counseling/Social Services from Trinity International University.
