Gil Fernandez

Gil Fernandez has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Gil began their career in 1992 at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where they worked their way up from the management training program to become a Branch Manager, overseeing a fleet of 215 vehicles and a staff of 17.

In 1998, Gil joined Ryder System, Inc. as a Rental Account Manager, responsible for sales and marketing of Ryder fleet products and services to new commercial rental accounts. Gil later held various roles within the company, including Business Development Manager, Manager of Sales, and Director of Sales, where they provided leadership and direction to leasing sales staff, managed accounts, and exceeded profitability goals.

In 2016, Gil transitioned to Penske Truck Leasing as a Lease Sales Representative, marketing long-term contractual services to transportation companies in the South Florida region. Within the first six months, they successfully surpassed their annual quota.

From 2017 to 2019, Gil worked as an Alternative Fuels Consultant at Alliance AutoGas, where they proactively recruited and engaged in high-level sales to national accounts to promote turnkey vehicle conversion system solutions.

In 2019, Gil became the President of New Venture Investment Group, LLC, specializing in purchasing, rehabbing, and reselling distressed properties throughout South Florida. Gil was responsible for the procurement of real estate assets and improving South Florida neighborhoods.

Most recently, in 2020, Gil joined Fleet Advantage as a Remarketing Sales Fleet Advantage, managing the sales of off-lease commercial trucks to commercial fleets, truck dealers, and owner operators across the US and internationally.
