Hemant Arya

Hemant Arya currently serves as an Associate Professor at Ganpat University's Faculty of Maritime Studies, where management of academic operations and enhancement of student engagement has been prioritized since December 2024. Previously, Hemant held various significant positions in the maritime industry, including Master and Chief Officer roles at Fleet Management Limited since January 2018, and has gained extensive experience in deck department management, cargo operations, safety, and environmental officer duties at multiple organizations, including Executive Ship Management and Navig8 Group. Hemant's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nautical Sciences from T. S. Chanakya, an MBA in Port & Shipping Management from CMJ Meghalaya University, and several certifications related to maritime regulations, training standards, and law.
