Diane Mitchell

Diane Mitchell is an accomplished credit professional with extensive experience in the mortgage industry. Currently serving as Credit Director and Head of Credit at Fleet Mortgages since September 2014, Diane is responsible for the Lending Manual, Valuer’s guidance notes, and fraud management, successfully cultivating a culture of responsible lending aligned with company objectives. Previously, Diane held the position of Litigation Manager at Capital Home Loans Ltd. from September 2008 to September 2014, leading a team in the retrospective re-underwriting of cases. Diane's career also includes a role as Credit Operations Manager at Capital Home Loans from 2003 to 2008, where management of a 20-person department focused on achieving service standards and operational efficiency took precedence. Earlier experience as a Senior Underwriter at Mortgage Trust from 1994 to 2003 involved significant responsibilities, including underwriting large mortgage applications, fraud investigation, and lending policy reviews.
