Brian Lynch is a Senior Computer Vision Scientist at Fleet Space Technologies, specializing in computer vision solutions for mining and exploration on Earth and in space since November 2025. Previously, Brian served as the Director of Horticulture Technology Systems and held various research positions at the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre from September 2018 to December 2025. At Queen's University, Brian was an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Mining and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, developing an online Mining Technology course and teaching programming for engineers. Brian's earlier experience includes postdoctoral research at Carleton University focused on robotic systems for both planetary exploration and Arctic applications, along with contributions to course development in robotics and automation engineering. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University, along with a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in the same field.
