Jose Hernandez has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Jose started their career at AT&T, where they held various roles including Network Design Specialist, Project Manager, Engineering and Technology Manager, and Service Delivery Manager. In 2009, they joined Internode as a Sales Engineering Manager. Jose then worked at iiNet as an Operations Manager from 2013 to 2017. After that, they joined TPG Telecom as the Head of Commercial Sales Operations. In 2019, they moved to Optus as a Senior Manager. Currently, they serve as the Head of Customer Success at Fleet Space Technologies, starting in December 2021.

Jose Hernandez has a diverse education history. Jose obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where they studied from 1995 to 2001. In 2007 and 2008, they pursued an MBA in Information Technology Management at FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração. Later, in 2016 and 2017, they pursued an Investment Management Specialization in Finance and Financial Management Services at the University of Geneva.

Additionally, Jose Hernandez holds various certifications. Jose obtained a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute). Jose also completed the Leading from Home course from Stanford University in July 2021. In September 2019, they completed the IBM Applied Artificial Intelligence Specialisation and the Python for Data Science and AI course, both offered by IBM. In April 2017, they completed the Investment Management Specialization course through Coursera. Furthermore, in December 2015, they obtained a certificate for completing the Machine Learning course from Coursera.
