Cynthia Hoey has extensive experience in the fashion industry, starting with their role as a Head Designer and Licensee at Adrienne Vittadini from 1989 to 1995. Cynthia then worked as a Fashion Designer at Liz Claiborne from 1995 to 2000. Following that, Cynthia was the Director and Designer of Licensee Swimwear at Adrienne Vittadini from 2000 to 2005. From 2003 to 2013, they owned and designed for CYN & LUCA. Currently, they hold the position of Creative Design Director at Fleet Street Ltd. since 2013.
Cynthia Hoey pursued their education between 1984 and 1988, during which they attended three different institutions. Firstly, they studied at the Parsons School of Design - The New School, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Fashion/Apparel Design. Concurrently, they also enrolled at the Otis College of Art and Design, earning another BFA in Fine and Studio Arts. Additionally, Cynthia Hoey attended The New School to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a specialization in Fashion/Apparel Design.
