Lee Spurrell

Lee Spurrell is an experienced Naval Architect Technologist currently working at Fleetway Inc. since September 2025, contributing to the Halifax Class Design Agent Service Support team. Prior to this, Lee served as a Senior Structural Designer at Duke Marine Technical Services, focusing on developing primary structure and outfitting drawings for the Royal Canadian Navy's Joint Support Ship project. Lee's extensive background includes roles as Structural Designer and QC at Fleetway Inc., Structural Designer/3D Laser Scan Technician at FC Telec Consultants Ltd, and Senior Structural Designer at Jacobs Canada Inc., applying various software tools such as Ship Constructor, Smart 3D, AutoCAD, and Microstation across numerous projects. Lee holds a diploma in Naval Architecture from the Marine Institute and completed specialized training in Smart 3D Marine Structural Modeling at Intergraph.
