Claudia Bate

Claudia Bate has a diverse background in the public relations and communications industry. Claudia started their career in 2006 as an Account Executive at Brazil - International PR & Social Media Agency, where they supported various account teams. In 2007, they moved on to Skywrite (Hotwire PR Group) as an Account Manager. Claudia then joined Bite Communications as a Senior Consultant in 2010 before transitioning to Edelman as a Senior Manager in 2010. In 2012, Claudia joined Hotwire PR as an Associate Director and Head of Financial Services & Corporate, where they played a key role in driving growth in the FinTech sector. Claudia then joined Bell Pottinger in 2016 as a Partner and Head of Financial Services, Professional Services & FinTech. In 2017, Claudia joined FleishmanHillard UK as the Managing Director, Sectors & Specialisms, overseeing a range of responsibilities. Throughout their career, Claudia has held various leadership roles and has worked with notable brands such as Citi, Currency Cloud, and Hotels.com.

Claudia Bate earned a BA degree in Modern Languages with a focus on Italian Language and Literature from the University of Oxford between 2002 and 2006. Claudia later pursued a Mst degree in European Literature with a specialization in Medieval Italian Literature at the same university from 2006 to 2007.
