Robert Axelrod

Robert Axelrod is a seasoned communications strategist with over three decades of experience in sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Currently serving as Senior Vice President & Partner at FleishmanHillard since July 2012, Robert leads the CSR and sustainability practice at the firm's St. Louis headquarters. Prior to this role, Robert held multiple positions at FleishmanHillard, including Vice President. Robert also founded and led GreenInkPros, LLC as President from 2009 to 2012, specializing in communication strategies within the sustainability sector. Earlier in the career, Robert was President of Axelrod & Steele, Inc., where responsibilities included developing sustainability and marketing communications strategies. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
