Mireille Cheung

Director, Community Health at Flemingdon Health Centre

Mireille Cheung has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple organizations. Mireille is currently employed as the Director of Community Health at Flemingdon Health Centre since November 2022. Previously, they served as the Director of Primary Health Services at East End Community Health Centre from August 2015 to November 2022. In this role, Mireille collaborated with senior management and various organizations to advance strategic priorities. Mireille also conducted research, designed program ideas, and created proposals and reports. Additionally, they assumed the role of Privacy Officer and handled privacy policies, complaints, and training. Prior to this, Mireille worked at MedRehab Group Inc. as a Consultant in Business Development and Project Management on a contract basis, where they focused on creating business traction, developing new programs, and improving sales. From 2010 to 2013, they held the position of Regional Director of Medical Imaging at Medvue Medical Imaging, managing multiple clinics and overseeing operations, budgeting, and revenue projections. Mireille initially joined Medvue Medical Imaging in 2009 as the Team Manager of Disability Case Management.

Mireille Cheung holds a B.A.Sc. degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. Additionally, they have a Certificate in Integrated Care from the International Foundation for Integrated Care. Mireille also obtained a Certificate in Project Management with a specialization in Community and Health Services Management from Ryerson University. Mireille furthered their education by earning a Community Health Leadership Certificate from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
