Derek Rendall

Derek Rendall is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software product strategy and solution management, currently serving as BP Product Owner and Solution Manager at Fletcher Building since May 2018. Derek has a proven track record in guiding key technology initiatives across various divisions, including eCommerce and data solutions. Previous roles include Lead Product Owner at Fletcher Building, where oversight of product management was a focus, and Enterprise Solution Architect, working closely with divisions to align technology with enterprise needs. Prior to this, Derek held management and architectural positions at multiple companies, demonstrating expertise in product lifecycle management, technical integration, and solution architecture across sectors such as insurance and SaaS. Derek holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Otago.
