Stewart Vaughan is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in innovation and manufacturing within the building products and appliances industries. Currently serving as the Head of Innovation for the Building Products Division at Fletcher Building since November 2024, Stewart previously led projects for Winstone Wallboards Ltd (GIB®) in greenfields development from March 2018 to October 2024. Notable earlier roles at Fletcher Building included Group General Manager Innovation and Group Manufacturing Manager. Stewart's career began at Fisher & Paykel Appliances, where roles spanned from Design Engineer to Engineering Project Manager. Stewart holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Auckland, completed in 1992.
