Paul Black

Paul Black is an experienced cost manager and quantity surveyor with a career spanning over two decades in the construction industry. Currently serving as Cost Manager at HEB Construction since September 2023, Paul Black previously held the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor at Fletcher Construction Company since June 2017, contributing to significant projects such as the Peka Peka to Ōtaki Expressway and the MacKays to Peka Peka project. Earlier roles include Quantity Surveyor and Project Coordinator at Transpower New Zealand Ltd, where Paul Black was involved in the North Island Grid Upgrade Project, and various quantity surveying positions at Beca Carter Hollings and Ferner Ltd, Alfred McAlpine Capital Projects Ltd, and McConnell Dowell Constructors. Paul Black obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with honors in Quantity Surveying from Northumbria University between 1994 and 1998.
