Mike Sarten

Mike Sarten is currently the Health and Safety Manager at Fletcher Construction, where they have been working since 2022. With over five years of experience in the Health and Safety sector, Mike has previously held positions as a Health and Safety Advisor at Mills Albert Ltd and a Senior Investigator at Total Risk Management. Before transitioning to health and safety, Mike served as a Police Officer with the NZ Police for nearly three decades and worked as a motor mechanic early in their career. Mike is pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and a Bachelor of Applied Management at Otago Polytechnic, both achieved with distinction. Passionate about learning and growth, Mike looks forward to elevating their professional journey in the coming years.
