Joe Thomas is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently employed at Flex-N-Gate since September 2021. Prior to this role, Joe held a position as a Student Co-op in System Operations at DTE Energy from January to September 2021. Joe also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Wayne State University in late 2019 and served as a Production Assistant Intern at Elevation Church from March 2017 to June 2019, where responsibilities included managing backstage lyrical prompts and learning about switchboards for live feeds. Additionally, Joe worked as a Laboratory Research Assistant at EcoSynthetix Inc., focusing on the organization of MSDS documentation and testing the efficiency of synthetic adhesives. Joe is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Wayne State University, building on a Master of Engineering obtained in May 2024 and a Bachelor's degree completed in 2022, all from the same institution.
