Alexa M. has diverse work experience in the creative writing and content creation field. Alexa started their career as an intern and assistant to the editor at WEDU in 2005. Later, they worked as a script reader, developer, and screenwriter at C.L.P.(Independent Production Company) in 2010. Alexa then joined Divergent Pictures as a screenwriter and director of development from 2010 to 2012. From 2013 to 2017, they served as the Vice President of Creative Development at the Katie Froeschle Foundation.
Alexa has also been self-employed since 2012, where they have taken on various writing and content creation projects. Alexa has written an award-winning feature-length screenplay and teleplay, created branding and copy material for Shine Spirits & Craft Syrups LLC, and produced, directed, and edited music videos for Sonic Graffiti.
In 2018, Alexa joined FLöK by Bekim as a social media content creator, managing the company's social media platforms and partnerships with brands such as L'Oréal, Oribe, and Baxter. Alexa recently joined Flex Seal Family of Products in 2020 as a creative writer, where they collaborate with the Creative Director to create copy across different platforms, aligning with marketing objectives and maintaining the brand's unique tone and voice.
Alexa M. started their education in 2005 at the Savannah College of Art and Design where they studied Film/Cinema/Video Studies for one year. In 2006, they transferred to Florida State University to pursue a degree in Creative Writing, which they completed in 2007. Alexa then attended the New York Film Academy in 2008 for a year to study Cinematography and Film/Video Production. Finally, from 2013 to 2016, they attended Eckerd College and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science.
