Dirk-Jan Berken

Dirk-Jan Berken possesses extensive experience in project management and engineering within the automation and logistics sectors. Currently serving as Project Management Lead at Flex since October 2011, Dirk-Jan has successfully managed multidisciplinary projects, including customer onboarding and process improvements, while overseeing project budgets and stakeholder relationships. Previous roles at Flex include Engineering Lead, where Dirk-Jan managed a team of Project Engineers, and Engineer, focusing on TMS and WMS projects. Prior to Flex, Dirk-Jan held positions at NXP Semiconductors as a Logistics Engineer and Supplier Interface Officer, where responsibilities included managing logistics improvements and overseeing third-party logistics suppliers. Dirk-Jan began a professional career as a trainee at Stork Fokker AESP and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Logistics from Hogeschool Drenthe, supplemented by a Prince2 foundation certification.
