Joan Vrtis

Joan Vrtis, Ph.D., is a retired Senior Vice President of Innovation and Technology Integration at Flex, where they served from 2018 until retirement. Previously, they held significant roles as Chief Technology Officer at Multek and Senior Director of the Interconnect Technology Center at Flextronics. Joan also gained extensive experience in leadership positions, including Chief Operations Officer at Shocking Technologies, Inc. and President & CEO at both Kemeta, LLC and eKubik Consulting, LLC. Joan earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago and advanced degrees in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Polymer Science & Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, respectively.
