Jorge Funaro

Jorge Funaro is the Senior Director of Government Relations at Flextronics, where they focus on implementing a comprehensive Government Affairs strategy within the high technology industry. With a robust background in contract manufacturing, Jorge has cultivated relationships with federal and state government ministries, including the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Science and Technology. Previously, they served as Chief of Staff at the Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Econômico, Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação do Estado de São Paulo from 1995 to 2001. Jorge is an active participant in industry associations, holding directorial roles at both ABINEE and FIESP. They are currently pursuing degrees in Marketing at Fundação Getulio Vargas and Engineering at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado.
