Randy Bird

Randy Bird is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and education. Currently serving as Reliability Engineering Manager and Process Engineering Manager at Flex since August 2023, Randy also teaches as an Adjunct Professor in Automation Technology at Waubonsee Community College. Formerly, Randy held various leadership roles at Plexus Corp. from 2008 to June 2023, including Automation Engineering Supervisor and Test Engineering Manager, and contributed to project implementations in automation and engineering. Prior experience includes positions at Northrop Grumman Corporation, USANG, and several roles in US Robotics and the USMC, showcasing a strong background in technical supervision and project management. Randy holds a BSEET in Electronics Engineering Technologies and multiple degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Roosevelt University.
