Stephen Phelan serves as the Global Head of ITAD at Flex since September 2024, following a diverse career in the technology and recycling sectors. Previously, Stephen held roles such as Customer Technology Specialist at FedEx Express from 1997 to 2007, where responsibilities included integrating automated shipping applications and training clients. As General Manager of the Electronics Division at Enviroserve in 2007-2008, Stephen initiated the first national recycling campaign in the UAE. Stephen further developed skills as Operations Manager at Sims Lifecycle Services from 2012 to 2014, overseeing ISO certifications and earning the Environmental Performance Certificate. Additional experience includes managing operations at Akhdar FZCO and serving as Business Development Manager at Peregrine Technologies Ltd. Stephen holds multiple postgraduate certificates in Leadership and Management from Coventry University and a Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management & Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute.
