Sumir Kapur is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the automotive technology sector, currently serving as Corporate Vice President of Global Design and Engineering at Flex since January 2001. Over the years, Sumir has held various senior leadership roles at Flex, including Senior Vice President positions in Innovative, Connected and Emerging (ICE) and Connectivity, as well as Vice President roles in Operations and Engineering. Prior to Flex, Sumir served as CEO of Wink, Inc., successfully leading the company to a sale in July 2017. Sumir's earlier experience includes key positions at ACCO Brands, IDEO, Zenith Data Systems, and Honeywell / Allied Signal. Sumir holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College, along with an Executive Education program from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
