Maurice O'Brien

Maurice O'Brien has had a varied and successful career. Maurice began their professional journey in 2009 when they joined PwC as a Senior Associate in the Asset Management department. In 2013, they moved to Betfair, where they held three roles, including Head of Commercial Operations, UK, Head of Commercial Performance, UK and Commercial Finance Manager. In 2016, they joined Flutter Entertainment Plc as UK & Ireland Director, Betfair Sports, and also became a member of the Betfair Leadership Team. In 2019, they founded Flexa Careers and also began working as a Strategic Advisor for Maurice O'Brien Consulting. In 2020, they joined Support Dogs as a Board Trustee.

Maurice O'Brien attended Gonzaga College SJ from 1997 to 2003. Maurice then went on to University College Dublin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business and Law between 2004 and 2008. After that, they attended UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, where they obtained an MSc in Finance in 2009. Finally, they completed the ACA program at Chartered Accountants Ireland from 2009 to 2013.
