Dave Hoover

Dave Hoover has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Dave is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Flexa. Prior to that, in 2015, they founded their own company called Red Squirrel Technologies and began as an independent software engineer. Over time, they transitioned to subcontracting and later started hiring full-time employees. In 2022, they co-founded Quickbeam to address accessibility issues in the web3 ecosystem. Dave also worked as a Partner at The Canoe Project, offering expertise in navigating challenges. Dave has been involved in various board positions, including serving as the Board Chair at We All Code and as a Board Member at Code Platoon. Dave contributed to the growth of Ascent RegTech as an interim VP of Engineering before they raised a significant round of funding. Prior to these roles, Dave held positions at Raise and ConsenSys, specializing in engineering and development roles. Dave was also a co-founder, managing director, and advisor at Dev Bootcamp.

Dave Hoover has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wheaton College, which they completed from 1992 to 1996. Dave also holds a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University, which they completed from 1997 to 1999.
