Maia Monell

Maia Monell is an accomplished professional serving as President & CEO of MALIAM since January 2020. In addition, Maia holds positions as Venture Partner at Flexcap Ventures, Board Advisor at the Monell Chemical Senses Center, and Board Member at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, all established in 2023. As Director of the G UNGER VETLESEN FOUNDATION, Maia has contributed since January 2020. Previously, Maia was Head of Corporate Development at The Fintex Group for a brief period in 2025 and co-founded Nav.it, where a successful exit occurred in March 2025. Maia's career began as Director of Communications at BridgeAthletic and included strategic roles at FutureBrand. Education credentials include a Master’s Degree in Marketing Strategy and Innovation from Cass Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wake Forest University, complemented by various international academic experiences.
