Tinashe Ruzane is the co-founder and CEO of FlexClub, a car-sharing company that provides an alternative to traditional car ownership. Tinashe has a background in strategy and innovation consulting, and has used this experience to launch and grow FlexClub.
Prior to FlexClub, Tinashe was the head of vehicle solutions for Uber in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). In this role, they worked with automotive OEMs, vehicle financiers, leasing and rental companies to increase access to vehicles for Uber driver-partners.
Before Uber, Tinashe was the head of business development and special projects for the Awethu Project, a South African organization focused on financing small businesses. Tinashe was part of a team that was responsible for the growth of a $64 million investment fund that supported talented under-resourced entrepreneurs.
Tinashe has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Cape Town and a master's degree in business administration from INSEAD.
Tinashe Ruzane has a MBA in Entrepreneurship from GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) and a MBA in Exchange Programme from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Tinashe also has a BCom in Accounting Sciences from University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria.
