Don Lui

Don Lui has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Don is currently working at Flexential as a Software QA Manager since September 2021 and also serves as a Software Quality Assurance Team Lead since May 2018. Prior to their current position, Don worked at Oracle for 12 years, starting in 2005 as a Director/Group Manager, Software Quality Engineering. Don earned progressive promotions during their tenure and successfully managed complex software development projects with budgets up to $1M. Before Oracle, Don worked at PeopleSoft, Inc. from July 2003 to January 2005 as a Senior Test Engineer, where they authored and maintained QA documentation and completed projects within established deadlines. Furthermore, Don gained experience at JD Edwards ERP as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst/QA Lead from August 1998 to July 2003, coordinating and prioritizing testing efforts for multiple enhancement projects. Don began their career in 1998 at Big Planet (A Division of NuSkin Enterprises) as a Technical Support Representative, providing assistance to Tier 1 customers. Don also briefly worked at Alder Sales Corporation as the Director of Marketing from January 1997 to January 1998.

Don Lui received their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Utah, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Later, in 2000 to 2001, they pursued an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. In addition to their degrees, Don Lui obtained additional certifications, including being a Certified SAFe® 6 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2023 and completing the "Master the OWASP Top 10" certification from LinkedIn in May 2020.
