James Newton

James Newton has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. James began their career at The Rookery, Inc. in 2015, where they served in various positions such as Food Runner, Server, and Bar Back, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and gaining experience in cash handling and POS systems. In 2018, they joined ITG Automotive as a Ground Operations Coordinator before transitioning to AsTech - Automotive Service Technicians as an IT Systems Administrator, where they were responsible for installing and maintaining remote tools for evaluating car codes, managing virtual machines, and providing technical support. James then moved on to Flexential in 2020, serving first as a Data Center Technician and later as a Data Center Technician 2, responsible for maintaining a large data center and ensuring the smooth operations of cooling, power systems, security, and fire suppression systems.

James Newton attended Mercer University from 2014 to 2015. James did not complete a degree or specify a field of study during that time. In terms of additional certifications, James obtained the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA in April 2023. James also obtained the ITIL Foundation Level certification from Flexential in May 2022. Prior to that, James acquired the CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA in December 2021. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp in July 2020.
