Patrick Kastanek

Patrick Kastanek has over 25 years of work experience in various roles related to technology and engineering. Their most recent role is as a Sr. Solutions Engineer at Flexential, starting in June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at TTEC from 2012 to 2021, where they held multiple managerial positions including Manager of Platform Engineering and Manager of Storage and Backup Engineering. At TTEC, they were responsible for architecting and implementing infrastructure solutions in line with the company's strategic initiatives. Patrick also managed teams and ensured system up-time and efficiency through the use of cutting-edge tools and automation.

Before TTEC, Patrick worked as a Senior Data Protection Engineer at ProBuild Holdings in 2012. Patrick also served as an MIS Supervisor at Sun Healthcare Group from 2006 to 2012, where they gained experience in managing information systems. Additionally, they were a Franchise Owner at Computer Troubleshooters of the East Albuquerque Area, where they provided technical services to clients.

Patrick's early career included roles as a Data Center Specialist at Sun Healthcare Group from 2000 to 2005, a Monitor and Trend Analyst / Shift Lead at Data Return from 1999 to 2000, and a Computer Operator at State National Companies from 1996 to 1998.

Throughout their career, Patrick has demonstrated expertise in virtualization, storage, backup systems, and infrastructure management. Patrick has a strong focus on delivering efficient and standardized solutions while ensuring system reliability.

Patrick Kastanek attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Information Systems. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1994, they attended Stephen F. Austin State University, but they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study.

In addition to their formal education, Patrick has obtained two certifications from NetApp. In September 2016, they obtained the NetApp Certified Data Administrator, ONTAP certification, and in October 2015, they acquired the NetApp Certified Storage Associate certification.
