Rukmal Fernando is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both hospitality and financial services. As the Proprietor of Treehouse Chalets since 2019, Rukmal has created an idyllic retreat emphasizing adventure and relaxation. Simultaneously, Rukmal serves as a Senior Performance Analyst at Flexible Plan Investments, focusing on product research, investment strategy development, and performance evaluation since 1997. Rukmal founded Breeze Design Studio in 2006, which specializes in digital services and content creation, and previously established Numatrix, Inc. to pioneer legal outsourcing from the US to Sri Lanka. In addition, Rukmal held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Ceylinco Dini (Pvt) Limited in collaboration with US-based DiNi Communications Inc. Educational credentials include a degree from Purdue University Fort Wayne, awarded from 1987 to 1991.
