Brian Williams

Brian Williams has worked in the IT field since 2016. Brian began their career as an IT Support Specialist at Hart Agency, where they were responsible for troubleshooting connectivity issues with Windows-based thin clients, VoIP phones, printers, and smart devices. Brian also oversaw the maintenance of engraving machines and their paired laptops. In 2019, they became an Information Technology Intern at Long Island Technology Solutions, where they assisted with the management of small to mid-size business networks for healthcare companies. Brian secured healthcare company data and built solutions to meet their goals, while complying with HIPAA laws. Brian also assisted clients with troubleshooting systems including printers/scanners, RDP, and hardware. Currently, they are a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer at Flexible Systems, where they monitor network infrastructure for 200+ clients and configures and manages Azure Active Directory across multiple clients' tenants. Brian also informs end users of suspicious activity on their accounts via Azure and rectifies any issues.

Brian Williams has a Bachelor of Science from Farmingdale State College. Brian has also obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (August 2022), CompTIA A+ ce Certification (May 2021), CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification (February 2022), CompTIA Network+ ce Certification (February 2022), Continuity (June 2022), Datto Certified Deployment Specialist (DCDS) for Continuity, Liongard Certified Professional, and Sophos Certified Engineer.
