Jennifer Mateo Román

Jennifer Mateo Román has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jennifer'smost recent position was as a Financial Controller Manager at FlexiDAO, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Controller at the same company from March 2022 to July 2023.

Before joining FlexiDAO, Jennifer worked at Grupo CTC as a Controller Junior y Auditoría interna from May 2019 to February 2022. In this role, they were responsible for preparing financial reports for executives and investors, managing cost types, handling external audits, and preparing financial statements for all company subsidiaries.

Jennifer also gained experience in finance and accounting at CaixaBank as an Intervención y Contabilidad Financiera from July 2018 to May 2019. Earlier in their career, Jennifer worked at Biokit, A Werfen Company as an Administrative departamento calidad from October 2017 to July 2018 and at Randstad España as a Técnico de selección de personal from April 2017 to October 2017.

In 2016, Jennifer had the opportunity to participate in a cultural exchange program as an Au Pair in the United States through Intrax. Jennifer spent a year with an American family, providing support in caring for a 2-year-old child.

Jennifer Mateo Román has a diverse education history encompassing various fields of study. In 2007-2009, they attended Escola Técnica profesional del clot and obtained a Bachillerato humanistico-social degree. From 2009 to 2013, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they obtained a degree in Management - Empresariales. In 2016-2017, they attended the University of Pennsylvania and focused on oral communication in English and academic skills for the TOEFL. Jennifer continued their education at UPF Barcelona School of Management, completing a postgraduate degree in Contabilidad y Finanzas from 2017 to 2018. Later, in 2018-2019, they pursued another postgraduate degree in Postgrado en Contabilidad Financiera from the same institution.

In addition to their formal education, Jennifer has obtained certifications in Fundamentos de las finanzas: Análisis de informes financieros and Fundamentos de la contabilidad from LinkedIn in September 2021 and August 2021, respectively.
