Thorsten Winterer

Thorsten Winterer started their work experience in 2004 as a Research Associate at IC-Parc, Imperial College London. In 2005, they worked as an Engineer at Crosscore Optimization Ltd. From 2006 to 2012, they served as a Senior Solution Developer at flexis AG, where they developed scheduling and optimization solutions for the automotive industry and customized a car sequencing solution for international clients. From 2012 to 2018, they were the Team Lead Optimization & Sequencing Solutions at flexis AG, where they managed the car sequencing solution and headed the solver development team. Since 2018, they have been the Team Lead Optimization at flexis AG, responsible for developing scheduling and optimization solutions for the automotive industry.

Thorsten Winterer completed their PhD in Planning and Resource Control at Imperial College London from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Dipl. Inf. degree in Informatik, Phonetik&Kommunikationsforschung from The University of Bonn from 1991 to 1999.
