Nir Ben Dvora started their career in 1991 as a Software Engineer at Scanvec before moving on to work as a Team Manager and Electrical Engineer at IAF Flight Test Center from 1992 to 1995. Nir then became a Software Team Manager at the Israeli Air Force, specifically in the Mamdas/Ofek unit, from 1995 to 1999. Following that, they joined Pentacom in 1999 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on the development of a high bandwidth SRP concentrator and obtained patents in this field. In 2000, Pentacom was acquired by Cisco, and Nir continued working there as a Software Team Manager until 2004, overseeing the development of cards for the Cisco 12000 router. From 2004 to 2011, they took on the role of Architect in Cisco's Services Architecture Team, responsible for system architecture for a generic service software and hardware infrastructure. Starting in 2011, they served as an Architect for Cisco AVC and IWAN Solutions, leading the technical architecture of Cisco's Application Visibility and Control (AVC) and Intelligent WAN (IWAN) solutions. Nir'swork involved Deep Packet Inspection, NetFlow/IPFIX reporting, Quality of Service, Software Defined Networks, and Data Analytics. Lastly, in 2019, Nir joined flexiWAN as the Chief Technology Officer.

Nir Ben Dvora obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, completing the program from 1988 to 1992. Later, they pursued further education at the same institution and earned a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Business Management. This program lasted from 2000 to 2005.
