Merlijn Groot

Merlijn Groot is a co-founder of KlinischeHulp, providing software to assist health professionals, and FlexLesser, which supports educational institutions with substitute teachers in various cities in the Netherlands. Previous experience includes roles as an Equity Derivatives Trader at Optiver, a Research Student at Royal Dutch Shell focusing on high-yield corporate debt, a Business Intelligence Intern at Qantas utilizing machine learning, and a Treasurer of the Board for All Energy Day. Earlier entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding Drive&Deliver and working as a Junior Simulation Engineer at Ampelmann Operations. Merlijn Groot holds a Master of Science in Econometrics: Quantitative Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
