Oleksiy Trusov

Oleksiy Trusov has extensive experience in the LNG (liquefied natural gas) industry. Oleksiy started their career as a 2nd Engineer at Chemikalien Seetransport GmbH in 2006. Oleksiy then worked as a 2nd Engineer on LNG Q-Flex vessels at Overseas Shipholding Group in 2007, before transitioning to the role of a 1st Engineer on LNG Q-Flex vessels at Teekay in 2008. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Mechanical Supervisor on an LNG FSRU (Floating Storage Regasification Unit) at OLT OFFSHORE LNG TOSCANA. Oleksiy then rejoined Teekay in 2013, this time as a 1st Engineer on LNG TFDE (Tri-Fuel Diesel Electric) vessels. In the same year, they moved to Overseas Shipholding Group as a Chief Engineer on LNG vessels. Oleksiy further gained experience as a Chief Engineer with Qatar Gas Transport Company (NAKILAT) from 2015 to 2020, before joining FLEX LNG as Chief Engineer on an LNG XDF (eXtra Detention Force) vessel in 2020.

Oleksiy Trusov obtained their Master's degree in Marine Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Odessa National Maritime Academy, where they were enrolled from 2006 to 2008.
