Jilong Kan is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in developing software solutions and leading engineering teams. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Flexport since September 2021, Jilong oversees multiple platforms including the Forwarding App, WMS, and Data Engineering. Prior to Flexport, Jilong was the Director of Engineering and Site Lead at JD.COM, where successfully established the Shanghai R&D center and led the development of a scalable WMS SaaS platform. Before joining JD.COM, a significant tenure at Amazon from July 2012 to February 2021 included leading the Cross-Border Processing System and various optimization technologies. Jilong holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Peking University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Northeastern University (CN).
