Julien Paillé

Based in Paris, he is responsible for establishing standards, implementing procedures and providing everyday action towards ensuring that the European compliance programs are effective in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting noncompliance with regulations, internal compliance guidelines and applicable compliance standards. He is also a Sustainability Champion within Flexstone Partners, contributing to the firm’s definition and implementation of the sustainability framework.

Prior to joining Flexstone Partners in 2020, Julien was with the French Financial Market Authority (Autorités des Marchés Financiers, “AMF”), where he was a Head of the Investment Service Providers Unit. He was responsible for overseeing a team in charge of monitoring investment service providers, contributing to negotiations, implementation and review of major directives on investor protection. Julien also co-authored published surveys on financial investment advisors and crowdfunding platforms.

Julien holds a B.S. in Applied Economics from Université Paris Dauphine and a M.Sc. in Management majoring in Corporate Finance from HEC (Paris).
