Benjamin Soon

Benjamin Soon has a diverse work experience spanning more than two decades. In 1996, they co-founded S.C.N. Technologies with secondary classmate Nicholas Chan, where they served as Managing Director. From 1999 to 2013, they served as an Air Force Officer, Combat Pilot, and Staff Analyst at the Headquarters of the Republic of Singapore Air Force, where they flew the S211 Jet, AS550 Helicopter, and CH-47 Helicopter. From 2013 to 2017, they were the Executive Director and Chief Business Development Officer at Flibe Energy, where they were responsible for outreach and engagement with governments, education and awareness of Molten Salt and Lithium Fluoride technology, and business development in the Asian region. Since 2017, they have been a Consultant and Director of Technology at MURSUN PTE. LTD., where they have been developing technology for innovative waste to energy solutions and creating a concept for Localized Re-purposing, a new approach to waste management.

Benjamin Soon attended Singapore Polytechnic from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering with a field of study in Civil Engineering. Benjamin then attended Swinburne University of Technology from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a field of study in Business Administration and Management, General.
