David Owen

David Owen serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Flight Centre Travel Group since July 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing product, systems, and architecture across EMEA corporate businesses. In a previous role as General Manager for Flight Centre, David managed 85 retail locations and nearly 700 staff, setting strategic direction and overseeing various operational aspects. David also held the position of General Manager for Flight Centre's premium brand, First and Business. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at The Travel Club and Flight Centre, as well as a background in travel consulting at TUI Travel PLC. David's academic credentials include a Master of Arts in American Literature from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Derby.
