David Anderson is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as the Managing Director of the Flight Safety Foundation's BARS Program since September 2011, where responsibilities include audit management, quality control, and the development of audit standards and procedures. In addition to this role, David also acts as the Audit Manager for the BARS Audit Program, focusing on statistical analysis and policy development. Prior to this, David held the position of Program Manager at Aviation Compliance Solutions from January 2008 to September 2011, overseeing auditor management and maintaining ISO certifications and accreditations. David's early career includes significant roles at Japan Airlines as a B747 Flight Engineer and a comprehensive tenure with the Royal Australian Air Force, culminating in various flight engineer and instructional roles. David's educational credentials include an MBA and a Graduate Diploma in Management from the Australian Institute of Business, along with a Diploma in Project Management from VECCI.
