Frank Jackman is the current Director of Communications and Research at Flight Safety Foundation. Previously, Frank served as the Editor in Chief and Vice President of Communications at the same organization. Prior to that, Frank held various editorial positions at McGraw-Hill, Aviation Week, and Overhaul & Maintenance magazine. Frank has a journalism degree from Washington and Lee University and has a background in reporting and editing within the aviation industry.

Flight Safety Foundation was formed in 1947 to pursue the continuous improvement of global aviation safety.
