Abi Waqas Asmat

Abi Waqas Asmat is an experienced professional in quality assurance and automation engineering, currently serving as the Lead QA & Automation Engineer at Flightradar24 since November 2023. Prior to this role, Abi worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist at QESTIT Sweden and held multiple positions at Telenor, including Software Test Manager and Agile Team Lead, from March 2020 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Snow Software as a QA Engineer, Accedo.tv as a QA Automation Engineer, MoSync AB as a Software Test Engineer, and a freelance position as a Software Tester. Abi started a career in technical writing at Next Bridge Private Limited. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Informatics from Lund University and a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology.
