Sean Atkinson

Sean Atkinson has a strong background in software engineering and technical leadership. Sean has held various positions in different companies, starting in 1995 with Catalist, where they served as a lead developer for Geographic Information Systems. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a research engineer at AT&T Laboratories, focusing on voice over IP and developing innovative software applications. Sean then became a freelance developer at Netproject, specializing in open source solutions for UK public sector clients. In 2006, they joined Picsearch AB as the Chief Technical Officer, managing a team of 12 technical staff and overseeing the delivery of multimedia search services. Sean continued this role at Screen9 when it was founded within Picsearch, serving high-profile clients in Swedish and international markets. In 2013, they became the CTO of Flightradar24 AB. Overall, Sean Atkinson has demonstrated their expertise and leadership in software engineering throughout their career.

Sean Atkinson attended Queen Elizabeth's Hospital School from 1988 to 1995. Sean then furthered their education at the University of Cambridge from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Information Sciences.
