Elaine (McCree) Redd has had a long and successful career in communications and public relations. Elaine started their career in 1993 as Vice President of Corporate Internal Communications at Comerica Incorporated. In 1997, they moved to General Motors where they held various roles including Manager of Global Leadership Communications, Manager of Internal Communications, and Communications Director of Corporate Business Communications. In 2002, they were promoted to Communications Director, where they provided advice and counsel to top leadership and business unit leaders, developed annual communication plans, led media relations, and wrote speeches, talking points, and blog messages. In 2010, they became the Principal at 710 Public Relations, LLC. In 2013, they joined the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce as Chief Communications Officer (CCO), Senior Director of Communications, PR, and Organizational Effectiveness, and Director of Communications & PR.

Elaine (McCree) Redd attended Wayne State University from 1978 to 1980, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. Elaine also earned a B.A. in Mass Communications from Wayne State University.
