Duane Loewen

Duane Loewen has been working in the software industry since 1995. Duane began their career at Informix as a Software Development Engineer. In 1999, they moved to IKON Office Solutions as a Software Engineer. In 2000, they started their own software consulting business, Aperio Software Consulting, where they analyzed client's software and database needs and designed, implemented, and tested the custom software and database solutions developed to meet those needs. In 2002, they started another software consulting business, Software Consulting, where they analyzed client's software needs and designed, implemented, and tested the custom software solutions developed to meet those needs. In 2004, they joined NetApp (LSI) as a Senior Software Engineer and was the project and technical lead for a global team developing common GUI components and common storage components for a Java storage application. In 2009, they moved to NetApp as a Member of Technical Staff 4 (Staff Software Engineer) and was the scrum master and technical lead for an eight member regional scrum team. In 2017, they joined Flint Hills Group as a Senior Software Consultant and helped clients create new cutting edge web applications.

Duane Loewen holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tabor College and has studied Computer Science at Wichita State University.
