Michael Peterson

Michael Peterson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Michael is currently employed at Flint Hills Group as a Software Engineer since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at NetApp from May 2011 to March 2023, where they had the role of MTS SW. During their time at NetApp, Michael had the opportunity to work on various tasks and job roles, including application development, bug fixes, support, and investigating performance issues. Michael enjoyed the flexibility to choose their projects and focused on ideas that benefited the larger engineering team. Before NetApp, Michael worked at LSI Corporation from May 1998 to May 2011. At LSI, they served as a Senior Software Engineer on an internal automation/test tools team and contributed to the development of a functional test automation tool. Additionally, they were a QA Engineer responsible for functional and solutions testing of RAID storage systems and maintaining charting/test status solutions through automation.

Michael Peterson obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Wichita State University, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Michael also obtained several certifications, including the "AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Exam Prep 2023" from Udemy and "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" from Microsoft, both obtained in May 2023. Michael also obtained certifications in ASP.NET Core 6.0, React, Talend Open Studio, Microsoft Power BI, Python test automation with Pytest, AWS Essential Training for Developers, C# Essential Training, Learn C# for Beginners, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, all obtained in 2023.
