Peter Blake has over 18 years of experience in finance and leadership roles. Peter is currently the Group CFO at Flint International since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Excitech Ltd as the Chief Financial Officer for 9 years, where they were responsible for finance and operational strategy and lead on M&A activities. Before that, they were the Finance Director at Zebra Group Ltd, where they played a key role in turning the company's profitability around and transformed their MIS capability. Peter also worked as the Senior Head Office Accountant at Equity Trust and as the Financial Controller at PartyLite (UK) Ltd, where they gained experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and team management.
Peter Blake completed their education at various institutions. From 1988 to 1995, they attended Queen's School and earned three A levels in Maths, Further Maths, and Business Studies. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Decision Analysis at Bournemouth University between 1995 and 1999. In 2018, they enrolled at The Open University, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, concluding their studies in 2022.
