Robert White is a professional with a diverse background in education and library sciences. Currently serving as a Librarian at Gloria Coles Flint Public Library since March 2023, Robert previously worked as a Highly Specialized Education Assistant and Teacher at Shelby County Schools from August 2018 to June 2022, where instruction was provided to English language learners. As a Corps Member for Teach For America from October 2017 to May 2020, Robert was selected from a competitive pool to enhance student achievement in public schools. Additional experience includes an internship with Fundación El Otro focused on work equity in Argentina and an internship in the office of Senator Margaret O'Brien, where local events were documented. Robert holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Spanish from Michigan State University.
